About
Helping people find real work in Antarctica
Antarctic jobs are spread across dozens of employers and countries. This site brings them together.
What this site is
Matty's Antarctic Job Portal gathers jobs connected to Antarctica in one searchable place: national Antarctic programs, the contractors that run their stations and logistics, research institutes, heritage trusts, and expedition cruise operators.
It is an independent job board. It is not run by, affiliated with, or endorsed by any national Antarctic program, government, or the Antarctic Treaty System.
Where the listings come from
Employers can create an account and post jobs here directly; people apply through this site. Other listings are imported from the employers' own job feeds and career sites. Imported listings always name their source, show when they were last checked, and link to the original advert, where you apply.
Details can change after a listing is imported. Always check the original advert before applying, and apply only through the employer's official channels. No legitimate Antarctic employer asks candidates to pay a fee to apply.
What we show and what we don't
Every number on the site, from job counts to filter totals, is calculated from the listings that are open right now. When a listing does not state something (a salary, a season, eligibility), we show that it is not specified rather than guessing.
