Subcontracts Program Manager

About the role

Location: 6314 Remote/Teleworker US Are you a talented and experienced Subcontracts Program Manager? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Leidos is seeking a skilled SPM to join our Antarctic Support Contract (ASC) program. In this role, you'll report directly to the ASC Program Manager and work closely with our senior leadership team, functional managers, and subcontract administrators to provide technical and programmatic oversight to our ASC subcontractors. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the program management discipline is fully integrated into the supply chain, guaranteeing that our subcontractors meet our program cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements. You'll take on a vital position as the Leidos SPM, focusing on the management of the subcontractors versus the administration of the subcontract agreement, overseeing all current and new subcontracts. You'll have the authority and responsibility to lead and manage the contract(s), maintain relationships with vendors, and advocate our Leidos technical managers. The ASC Program currently has over 70 subcontractors, with 10 subs encompassing most of the 2,000 people who deploy yearly. To ensure effective communication between the subcontractor teams, Leidos subcontract administration team, and program team, the ASC Program seeks a skilled SPM to act as a liaison. As the SPM, you will center on achieving strategic deployment objectives and establishing appropriate agreements, understanding, and accountability mechanisms to optimize operations across the ASC Program. However, you will not be responsible for managing all 70+ subcontracts simultaneously. We're looking for someone who can independently assess subcontractor performance and identify, escalate, and resolve performance issues as they arise. If you're up for this rewarding challenge, we invite you to join our team and help us take our ASC program to the next level!
